I’m back from Vienna and Prague and I can’t wait to tell you about my trip! Expect some Austria and Czech Republic posts mixed in with the standard Italian diet this week – I hope you won’t mind.
Both cities were so fantastic, it’s hard to pick a place to start. I’ve spent the morning going through the hundreds of photos we took in both cities, and one thought is jumping out at me over and over again: I am so happy that our Prague pictures captured how magical it was to walk around the city.
Have a look below.
At first, we were worried when we woke up and it was so foggy. But after walking beside the river, it turned out to be really beautiful.
In the early afternoon, the cloudless sky made taking the requisite church pictures supremely easy.
Looking out at the city from any bridge, at any point in the day, was just gorgeous.
Later in the afternoon on our second day, it became cloudier. Instead of making everything dull and grey, the cityscape actually became more dramatic.
I love this shot of Prague Castle. How ominous and powerful does it look?
Surprise, surprise. Prague at dusk still looks cool!
Being the sucker for sunsets that I am, I wasn’t let down by this one.
But the best revelation of all for me? Prague at night is completely breathtaking too.
So, I hope you’ll agree with me that taking a bad picture with sights this amazing? Totally impossible!
